Monday 7/18 – Bootleggers Craft Pub and Eatery will be hosting its weekly Steal the Pint and Craft Beer Bingo. They start pouring at 6pm and the featured beer will be from Tioga Sequoia Brewing Company. The exact beer is still being worked out.
Monday 7/18 – Nelson hops can be pricy and sometimes hard to find. Head over to Moo Creamery for a blind, side by side tasting of two brews that utilize this elusive hop. The old guard being poured is Alpine Beer Company’s appropriately named Nelson IPA which holds a respectable 97 BA Score on Beer Advocate. The newcomer and local darling being poured is Honey Wagon Brewing Danky Rye Nelson IPA. Remember the Pepsi Challenge? It’s like that but with beer and Nelson hops.
Tuesday 7/19 – Taco Tuesday at Imbibe Wine and Spirits features two types of tacos paired with Modern Times brews. The barbacoa tacos will be paired with Black House Stout and the chile verde tacos will be paired with Protocosmos IPA.
Wednesday 7/20 – Moo Creamery brings us their weekly Flights and Bites event featuring Barrel House Brewing Company. The pairing starts at 2 and goes until 9pm.
Line Up: Key Lager, Snakebite Fruit Beer, Rue IPA, Big Sur DIPA, Othello American Wild Ale
Wednesday 7/20 – The weekly Steal the Glass event over at Eureka Burger starts at 6. No word on the featured beer yet.
Thursday 7/21 – Wine Me Up! is hosting a Honey Wagon Brewing tasting and steal the glass. Honey Wagon’s rep, Tyler will be pouring and giving out swag from 6 to 8pm.

Short and Sweet (or Sour)
Imbibe Wine and Spirits has happy hour daily from 12 to 6pm. This week the featured beer is Stone Brewing Company Citrusy Wit.
Also over at Imbibe, pick up a bottle of Deux Amis Belgian Saison a collaboration brew by Brasserie Dupont out of Belgium and from the USA, Lost Abbey Brewery. Other notable bottles available; Toolbox Brewing Company Purple Drink, Das Fruit and Cucumberliner.
Savemart has some new and fresh bottles on the self. Of course there is W00tstout. Also available; fresh Tioga Sequoia Rush Hour and Mocha Midnight Lightening and Barrel House Sunny Daze.
Fresh Hop Nookie by Kern River Brewing Company is still at a few places around town.
Temblor Brewing Company’s cans of their core lineup are at local bottle shops and look very nice.
Sully’s on Coffee continues to have a very nice selection with beers from Almanac Beer Company such as Vanilla Cherry Dogpatch, Stone’s W00tstout and Unita Brewing Company’s Flamingose Pineapple Gose.
