Speaking of Imbibe, last week’s Modern Times 3rd Anniversary party, hosted in the Imbibe cellars was an absolute hit. The setting could not have been more perfect, with temperatures outside soring; the cellars were a welcome change of temperature and created a wonderfully intimate atmosphere that encouraged discussion and socializing. The beers, of course, were amazing which is expected coming from this standout brewery and the hors d'oeuvres were a nice touch. Expect to see more of these events coming in the future from Imbibe.
Lagunitas Brewing Company hit the shelves of Savemart last week with three new brews. Stoopid Wit is an unfiltered hoppy Belgian wit beer, The Down Low Ale is a copper ale and 12th of Never Ale which is the first canned offering from Lagunitas. Other fresh new offerings over at Savemart are; Knee Deep Brewing Company Simtra and Hop-Trio (formally known as Hoparillo) triple IPAs, Deschutes Brewery Black Butte XXVIII Anniversary and Pinot Suave Belgian Ale with pinot noir grapes aged in French oak barrels.
I’m sure there is plenty more to talk about that I missed. Comment below or send me a message if you have something that needs to be included next week or have a beer related event you want to promote.
