Tuesday 8/30 – Flame Burger opens in the North West to the public on Tuesday! In addition to their inventive burgers such as the Blueberry burger and the Beehive Burger, they offer salads, 24 taps and something called a beer tube… I’m not sold on the beer tube. I’m sure there is a market here for this, a beer tube of 805 or Coors Light to dome will no doubt become a rite of passage for some and a great way to start the night for many a bro but probably (hopefully) not in the cards for my faithful readers. In spite of the beer tube, I am looking forward to checking out this spot!
Tuesday 8/30 – Craft Tap House is hosting Uinta Brewing Company Night from 5 – 9pm on Tuesday night. No details yet on what beers will be available.

Luponic Distortion Rev. 003 by Firestone Walker is now available practically everywhere. Make sure you grab a pint, can or bottle of 002, which is still around town, while it lasts. This is a good chance to do a side by side comparison; you may have to go to two different places as I don’t know of one spot that has both on tap.
On tap over at Dionysus Brewing Company, you can still get a taste of Sour Power Week. As of today, they still have Milk the Funk Rye Saison, Stone Fruit Funkadelic Gose and Peach on Through Golden Sour. These are limited so no growler fills.
Speaking of Dionysus Brewing Company, their Superfunkadelic Gose bottles are available for consumption in house at everybody’s favorite Tiki bar, Tiki-Ko, located downtown at 1919 K St. These will go fast as they sold out at the brewery in one day. Tiki-Ko is open today from 1-8pm.
Save Mart on Hageman road has fresh bottles of Kern River Brewing Company Dirty Hippie Imperial Red Ale with bottle dates of 8/24.
Imbibe Wine and Spirits is stocked up with 10 Barrel Brewing Crush Cucumber Sour, Firestone Walker Brewing Company Oaktoberfest Marzen, Allagash Brewing Company Farm to Face Peach American Wild Ale and Founders Brewing Company Breakfast Stout.
Wine me up! still has bottles of Barrelhouse Brewing Company Helena, Wild Peacot, Eleanor and Othello. They are very limited so availability may change.
GM Liquor, located downtown, has Track Seven Brewing Company Left Eye Right Eye DIPA, Allagash Brewing Company Farm to Face Peach American Wild Ale, Spatan Oktoberfest, Alpine Beer Company Ryeder on the Storm and Firestone Walker Brewing Company Oaktoberfest Marzen.
Frugatti’s new rotating handles are Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Company’s Firefall Red and 32 North Brewing Company’s Jester’s Dead Imperial IPA.
In out of town news: The Golden Nugget in Downtown Las Vegas is hosting its annual Fall Beerfest on September 17th and 18th. The festival features over one hundred craft beers at the tasting event on Saturday then on Sunday, an Oktoberfest Pool Party with live entertainment, food and more beer tasting at the Nuggets Tank Pool. Check the website for more info and tickets.
I’m sure there is plenty more to talk about that I missed. Comment below or send me a message if you have something that needs to be included next week or have a beer related event you want to promote.
