Speaking of Untappd, they recently released a new version of their app. It’s very busy with lots of options. It certainly takes some getting used to but should prove a better experience once you get used to it. If you don’t have the app, check it out here. It’s a great way to keep track of what you’ve had.

Bottles of Local Craft Beer Snobs IPA will be available soon. They should start showing up on shelves around March 3rd starting with a day one bottle release party at Imbibe Wine and Spirits. Check out the event on Facebook. Hop Drizzle 2.0 is currently in the fermenters up in Tehachapi. This version is less cloudy, designed for the BJCP look required for the LA IPA Festival. Keep an eye out for Cali Cloud a hazy IPA ready to compete with all those East Coast can beers everybody is talking about.

Temblor Brewing should have Rhapsody in Red Hoppy Red Ale back on tap early this week. On Monday they will release One Hit Wonder Ramble On DIPA which was brewed with Dave and Lizzy the traveling brewers of Dave and Lizzy Brew American. On deck on the One Hit Wonder system are a British IPA and a white IPA. Those should go on tap mid-March.

Five-gallon kegs are now available to the public over at the Lengthwise Brewery. They’ve also recently purchased a 12 oz. bottling line to do all the bottling in house. In a couple of months expect to see the Rye IPA, White IPA, and the Coffee Stout all available in six packs. Rye and White IPA will also be available in 22 oz. bottles by the end of the month. Also, soon to arrive on tap is Igor Unchained Russian Imperial Stout which is the first of their new Wild & Scenic Series that will eventually feature limited bottled sours and barrel aged beers. Sours from this line will start showing up late spring.

It’s great to see Johnny Garlic's at the Market Place get into the craft beer event scene. This last Thursday they featured KRBC in a tap takeover and steal the glass. The management looks to be focusing on the craft aspect of beer and seems to be primed to rotate the taps and bring more local weekly beer events.

Imbibe Wine and Spirits has cans of Tioga Sequoia Rush Hour Breakfast Stout, Tioga Sequoia Tecumseh Imperial IPA, Ale Smith IPA and Ale Smith Speedway Stout.

Cans are showing up at G.M. Liquor too. Pizza Port Swami’s IPA, KRBC Just Outstanding IPA, Rogue 6 Hop IPA, Rogue Dead Guy Ale, and the above mentioned Tioga Sequoia cans.
